Dubya: One Good Loafer Deserves Another

Back in March 2008 CBS News reported that President George W. Bush has taken more vacation days than any president in history, passing the 879th day spent at the Crawford ranch in less than 8 years. I am speculating that this may be one of the real reasons journalist Muntadar al-Zaidi threw his shoes at the President. Loafers for the loafer.

I am also speculating that the other reason Mr. Zaidi threw his shoes was a historical challenge of competency. A legitimate former major league baseball general manager should have been able to field the first shoe, tag out Malaki and toss the first shoe to the Secret Service for a return throw before the second shoe left Zaidi's hand. Instead, the result is two passed balls by the President, even though both pitches were very close to the strike zone.
