Greetings,
Here are
current happenings with EcoCover.
Manufacturing Plant Sale to Australia
Confirmed
The first
EcoCover manufacturing plant sale outside of
New Zealand was confirmed on July 4 in
Australia. Non profit organization Coffs
Harbour anticipates starting manufacturing
of EcoCover in Australia starting in
December 2007. In the interim, they have
been and are serving the market with product
imported from New Zealand. For more
information about the availability of
EcoCover product in Australia please contact

Manufacturing Plant Sale to the Czech
Republic Pending
The second
EcoCover manufacturing plant sale outside of
New Zealand will be going to the Czech
Republic in Eastern Europe. A sale price
guarantee earnest deposit has been received
and the contract is scheduled to be signed
in London UK on July 20.
EcoCover products imported from New Zealand
will soon be available in Europe. More
information will follow as soon as the
contract is executed. The manufacturing of
EcoCover in Europe should begin in January
2008.
EcoCover Manufacturing Opportunity Price
Increase Announced
The record
high value of the New Zealand dollar versus
the declining value of the USA dollar has
resulted in the need to increase the price
of the EcoCover manufacturing opportunity.
The price until the end of July 2007 is
US$1,675,000. As of August 1, 2007 the
price will be US$1,700,000.
The increase
in price is solely a result of international
currency markets. New Zealand central bank
has raised interest rates to help cool a
highly active real estate market. Investors
from Japan are borrowing funds in Japan at
.5% interest per annum and buying deposits
in New Zealand banks at rates of 8% per
annum. Predictions are that the New Zealand
dollar will continue to increase in value
for the next one to two quarters.
EcoCover can
price the manufacturing plant opportunity in
other major currencies if this is an
advantage for you. Please contact me for
more details.
EcoCrop Rolls Are Available in the USA
In the great
state of California we have about 60 rolls
of EcoCrop 1 x 100 meters (3'3" x 330 feet)
available for immediate delivery, cost
$69.00 per roll FOB Los Angeles area.
EcoCrop is the light weight mulch intended
for annual row crops. It is organically
certified in New Zealand. If you are
interested in these rolls please email me
ASAP and I will get you connected with the
source.
Organically Grown Food is More Nutritious
Organically
grown tomatoes were found to have much
higher levels of two key flavonoids -
quercitin and kaempferol - in a long-term,
one of a kind study at the University of
California, Davis. Remarkably, the team
found that the longer the tomatoes had been
grown organically, the bigger the difference
in flavonoid concentrations, compared to the
conventional plots.
Results from
the ongoing study of conventional and
organic cropping systems near Greenfield,
Iowa, are turning heads. By the fourth year
in an organic crop rotation, organic corn
and soybean yields rose above conventionally
grown fields. Just like in the California
tomato study, the improving performance in
the organic plots in Iowa is attributed to
soil quality improvements: more soil organic
matter, enhanced microbial activity in more
diverse communities of organisms, and
reduced soil acidity.
In
independently conducted research EcoCover
has proven to be a significant contributor
to helping restore natural soil fertility
while conserving soil moisture and
increasing plant growth and yields.
Please email me if you would like to
receive a summary of EcoCover research to
date.
What's
Up With North America?
I have had
over the past two years numerous inquiries
regarding the EcoCover manufacturing
opportunity from the USA and Canada but to
date no one has made the move to consummate
a deal to start manufacturing EcoCover
here. We have hundreds upon hundreds of
folks who will be receiving a copy of this
email newsletter who want to buy EcoCover
products. Importing is not economically or
environmentally sustainable from New
Zealand. Perhaps importing EcoCover from
Europe will be more economically favorable
in 2008?
EcoCover
managing director Murray Cruickshank in an
email sent to me from Dubai yesterday
evening said, "We need to
urgently talk about USA and Canada re 'where
to from here'. Unless someone is seriously
interested like 'now' (before the end of
July), we have no need to offer any
additional incentives. I still have a hard
time believing that the greatest free
economy in the world does not get the
EcoCover opportunity - it amazes me."
We do have
some incentives available for a USA or
Canada manufacturing plant purchase and
would like nothing better than to kick off
EcoCover in North America. But, EcoCover is
a worldwide opportunity and with visionary
entrepreneurs in places like Australia and
the Czech Republic stepping up to the
opportunity, incentives are not needed if
other parts of the world are purchasing
EcoCover manufacturing plants.
If you have an
earnest interest and want to take advantages
of incentives available until the end of
July, the time to talk is now.
Cheers,
Ron Castle
