Organic Weed Control
Photographs On June 29, 2006 a
New Zealand council (city government) park was
landscaped using EcoCover mulch mat. The matting
was covered with decorative bark. The
area was revisited in October. Plants show
vigorous growth with virtually no weeds in the areas
mulched with EcoCover. The site was
visited again in January 2007. Areas mulched only
with decorative bark show significant weed development.
The areas mulched with EcoCover show few if any weeds
except in the un-mulched area between the edge of the
EcoCover and the edge of the lawn.
