3D Animation Production Studio

Great 3D animation production doesn't have to cost an arm and a leg, not if you do it the way Kerry and Pauline do it at 3D Magic Factory. This Austin, Texas based animation studio does a great job for helping clients make the best choices to achieve their animation goals.

We have been working with the 3D Magic folks to help earn a ranking for their home page and have earned a Google page one number four ranking for animation production studio along with a number of other first page rankings for similar phrases.

The process involved getting their website structurally correct followed by writing some good home page copy. As you might expect for visually oriented folks, the website is mostly short on copy, although the information that they have is informative and their visual elements are quite excellent.

Organic SEO for Unknown Product Gotta-Grip

One of the challenging issues facing many new products and organic optimization is how do you create traffic for something that is a very useful item for golfers in this case? Very few folks know the Gotta-Grip product (yet) and no one is searching for golf club grip conditioner or reconditioner because they don't know that this unique patented product even exists.

The strategy we laid out for website owners Westy and Bill and webmaster and fellow collaborator Pete was to do extensive research on all things related to golf and charitable and corporate tournaments and events and fill the non-ecommerce portion of the website with really good, informative, helpful and humorous pages that WILL attract organic traffic, all of which lead to the new product Gotta-Grip.

Fortunately, Westy is a savvy golfer, a savvy golf products marketer and a prolific writer. During the Christmas holidays and shortly thereafter he cranked out almost 30 pages of content which I rewrote and edited. We collaborated on the final copy, wrote our tags and title for every page, we all discussed the final product and Pete added them to the new website which went live today at their domain name which has already passed Google TrustRank.

Some of the targets we chose include
golf tournament gifts, golf equipment tests and topless golf. The topless golf page is a good example of how good creative writing skills can create an interesting and relevant page of content for something people are frequently searching. The visible page title for the page is Topless Golf: Gotta-Grip May Not Be What You Think.

The proof is in the pudding and it will be only a matter of days before our new pages get in the index. I expect we are going to have many good rankings all of which will turn significant traffic.

I think we gotta grip on Gotta-Grip's new website. Proof to follow shortly.

By the way, if you are a golfer, go check this product out. You will want one and Gotta-Grip also makes very affordable
unique golf gifts, which is another one of our targets.

Cheers,
Ron Castle

Need More Page Copy & Better Targeting for GroutSmart.com

Ron at GroutSmart.com in Phoenix requested a free ranking report for his new website and says he wants to be number one at Google, a worthy ambition. This new website about tile and grout cleaning services has been online a couple of months.

The ranking report shows that the web is now in the index at Google and Live.com. No rankings for Ron's targets at Google, some page three rankings for a couple of targets at Live.com.

When you see rankings at Live and none at Google, most of the time the main reason is that the keyword density of the page copy is too high which means not enough page copy.

This website needs better geographic targeting by getting the name, address, phone and FAX numbers on every page in live html text.

The website also needs a html sitemap to go along with the xml sitemap already in place. The xml file shows that every page in the website is changed daily, which is not likely?

Quick search phrase research does not show geographic searches for Ron's page targets, but there ARE some good general targets related to tile cleaning and grout cleaning that could generate some decent inquiries. Search phrase research does not show all the searches, only the predominant ones. I would take the best general targets and add the local geographics for the best results on local search.

The immediate key issues with this website are more page copy and research to hone in on the best targets.

The next step is to work on inbound links.

Cheers,

Ron Castle
