You can have almost anything for breakfast, or if you aren't careful
breakfast might have you for breakfast. The shrimp & pork sausage
special is excellent.

Saint Charles Cathedral on St. Charles Square
I have had 50 folks email me to say that this is actually St. Louis
Cathedral on Jackson Square. I intentionally mistitled the
photo to see if anyone is really reading the titles, and they are.
But some of them have NO sense of humor.

An old fashioned barber shop in the heart of the
French Quarter at 625 Bienville, The Monteleone Hotel Barber Shop,
owned for over 30 years by one of the pillars of the community, Mr.
Patrick O'Connell. Pat's daughter Joyce from Durham, North
Carolina, found this photo here on the website and asked if she
could buy three prints, one for herself, one for her sister and one
for Pat. No way, Jose. I gave them to her.
She said, "I really like the photo that you took --- the shop has
been my Dad's life for so long." Maybe I can swap the prints for a
haircut - I need one.
