Use a messaging system to better serve your customers - We have recently implemented a messaging system which uses email for notification but otherwise keeps all the content in a database on your website. You can upload and download files using this system and each "ticket" creates a message thread that can be monitored and responded to by multiple users. Your out of the office and Bob gets a hot email sent to him only. He's out playing golf (or waiting in the soup line) and no one else knows!!!!! Not with this system. Cost to set up and brand?
