Site Search Engine Ranking Utility
Some Easy Ways to Check Your
Rankings
Greetings,
Lots of folks and especially those new to having a
website online want to know if they have any search
engine rankings. You have been online for 2 months and
nothing is happening?
Here are a couple of good ways to see the status of your
web with search engines:
One is to go to my friend Jim Morris' website
http://www.nichebot.com and do the Google Search up
to 1,000 listings deep for your target phrase of choice.
This is a free service. There are some other interesting
SEO tools at this web and they are all free. Check them
out.
Another free way to do this is to go to
http://www.marketleap.com. Look for the Free Search
Engine Marketing Tools in the center column. Click on
Search Engine Saturation. Enter your site's URL, as well
as the URLs of a few of your competitors, if you choose.
Enter the secret code in the graphic on the screen and
click Generate Report. You'll learn how many of your
pages are indexed in each of the different engines.
Click on each of the numbers for the various engines.
You'll see which pages each of the engines has indexed.
For example, if you have 250 product pages but Google
only shows 120 pages indexed, this will show that you
have a problem. Some of your pages are not getting
indexed? Need to find out why and get that fixed. Let me
know if you need help.
Another is to purchase a program like the one I use to
check your rankings on all of the major search engines
WORLDWIDE as well as to analyze your pages versus the
top 10 ranking pages for your target search phrase of
choice. Check out
IBP 9 for more information.
TIf you are marketing overseas or
in a language other than English, this program is
multi-lingual. I just did some Brazilian analysis for a
client in Portuguese.
